New York startup, Minibar Delivery, quietly began testing their brand throughout Dallas in October. Founders Lara Crystal (who helped build Rent the Runway) and Lindsey Andrews (previously of FreshDirect) met in business school, and launched Minibar Delivery last winter in New York. The company has since spread to San Francisco, Chicago and Dallas. “[We] identified that there wasn’t a go-to destination for alcohol delivery online,” Crystal explains. They’re hoping to change that.

Minibar Delivery teams up with local liquor stores — they’re currently working with In the Sack here in Dallas — to make purchasing alcohol more convenient. The company hasn’t officially launched in Dallas, but is up and running for those in the know. Delivery service is available Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and while there’s currently no delivery fee, the purchase minimum is $15.
