Fast-casual restaurant, Chicken Salad Chick will open its first Texas locations with ten franchises scheduled to move into the Dallas area. The restaurant got its start in Auburn, Alabama in 2008 and has since opened twenty-six locations and sold nearly a hundred franchises which are slated to open in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The restaurant offers “custom-fit” chicken salads, gourmet soups and desserts. You can expect to see the concept popping up around town in 2015.
