2nd Annual Beer, Bourbon & Brisket Festival in Fort Worth

If Dallastites needed another reason to eat barbecue, here's a perfect one to round out summer.

Screen Shot 2014-09-08 at 6.11.01 AMThe second Beer, Bourbon & Brisket Festival will take place at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth on Saturday, September 20 from 5 PM until 11 PM. The barbecue masters inlude Back Forty Smokehouse, Phat Daddy’s, Red Barn BBQ, Smokey’s BBQ, and North Main BBQ.

There will be a craft beer tasting by Cobra Brewing Co., Deep Ellum Brewing, Franconia Brewing Co., Firestone Walker Brewing Co., Rabbit Hole Brewing, Rahr & Sons, and Revolver Brewing. Wine and spirit tastings include Famous Grouse, Firefly Moonshine, Legacy Blended Canadian Whiskey, and Manuscript Wines.

Festival-goers will hear live performances by Rise & Shine, The Hazardous Dukes, Foxtrot Uniform, Dovetail, The Roomsounds, and J Charles & the Trainrobbers. There will also be activities for kids like carnival-style games, ladder golf, and bounce houses.

General admission is $10 in advance, and children age 10 and under are free. A $25 advance ticket includes sampling coupons for the craft beer and spirits tasting and commemorative glassware.
