Salsa Fest Dallas Will Take Place in September

The new event will team up with Deep Ellum Outdoor Market and will boast chips & salsas from local restaurants.

I love my new state of Texas. Salsa is one thing I can’t live without, and some geniuses have decided Dallas needs a festival to celebrate it. I couldn’t agree more!

On September 20 at the corner of Crowdus St. and Elm St., Dallas Salsa Fest will team up with Deep Ellum Outdoor Market to throw a party for that most majestic of pairings: chips and salsa. Local restaurants will showcase their salsas and compete to be the best in the region. The Deep Ellum Market will have its usual array of local artists, vendors and live music. Cody Marx Bailey, Ryan Plesko and Jessica Cash are behind this brilliant salsa event. As more details become available, we’ll share them, of course. Unlike the salsa. We won’t be sharing ours.
