Hey Tea Lovers! Dallas Gets a Tea Learning Expo & Certification Classes

Speakers will teach about tea pairing, history and more.

The Specialty Tea Institute, based in NYC, is holding tea learning events in Dallas August 6 – 9. The Big Tea in Big D and five other educational events will be held from the 6 -7 at the Fairmont, and the remainder of the week will be hosted at The Four Seasons Las Colinas.

On August 6 from 5-7 PM, there is a happy hour at The Establishment on Travis St. Chef Jason Ferraro and five-time James Beard Nominee Sharon Hage created the menu, and Jason Ferraro, along with Cindy Gold, Tea Sommelier and Les Dames d’Escoffier member, will lead the tasting. Guests will enjoy tea cocktails, small bites, beer and wine, and will learn about tea pairing. The happy hour is part of the first Specialty Tea Institute (STI) Learning Expo, in conjunction with the Texas Sommelier Conference (TEXSOM), August 6-10.
