2014 GTRR Posters - croppedThe annual GO TEXAN Round-Up starts today and goes through Sunday, July 27th. There are quite a few participating restaurants in the DFW area, including Canary by Gorji, The Porch, Liberty Burger, Grace, and LUCK.

Proceeds from GO TEXAN week benefit food banks all over the state. Over $40,000 has been pledged so far. 1 in 4 Texas children is at risk for hunger. So there’s a twofold incentive to eat at one of these places this week: supporting area farmers and ranchers (and thereby the local economy), and feeding the hungry in your hometown.

Some sponsors have donated giveaways and prizes as well. Check out GO TEXAN’s website for details.
