One could say that working at D Magazine has its perks. One of which is the opportunity to work and experience the magic of The Best of D reveal party. If you missed out on the night then you’re in luck, because #BOBD2014 flooded social media and brought the night to life. Here’s #BOBD2014 from all angles courtesy of Instagram.
D Magazine intern @sarah_stitties said, “When work is fun”
@Stampede66 had their game faces on to dish out The Best Fried Chicken and they did so in style.
Our very own D Magazine editor Cristina Daglas snagged a quick selfie with The Best (and her favorite) Bartender before snagging one of his cocktails.
@TavernaRossa was all smiles and Bloody Marys as guests poured in.
@DavisStreetEspresso served it up, literally. One individual actually asked me if Davis Street’s iced coffee was good when I approached their table to which I replied, “Well they did win The Best Coffee House award ma’am…” Just to clarify: NO. It is actually THE BEST.
One of the sponsors from the night @topochicousa had a smashing time from start to finish.
@UrbanEpicurious caught some of my favorite food moments between Bolsa’s duck, Boulevardier’s crostini and Chef Rathbun helping Lucky Campbell with his bartending game.
@Simplifyme thought Patina Green Home and Market was YUM and so did I. The pickled vegetables were refreshing after chowing down on some of the heavier items.
@SouthernFriedPaper couldn’t be happier about their Best of D nomination this year, and couldn’t contain their excitement about Mexican Sugar’s Best Margarita, either.
@SMU.Mustangs let the community know to “Pony Up” in celebration of their win for Best Sports Team.
I couldn’t give you a peek at #BOBD2014 without showing you my perspective on the night. Taking advantage of the photomadic, capturing Monkey King Noodle’s pre-show shots, enjoying the ceviche from Mr. Mesero and watching Mexican Sugar in action, @bitemedallas had one hell of a time.
