Too many good things are happening at Village on the Green right now. At this shopping center adjacent to the Galleria Dallas, La Perla d’Italia (a restaurant with “authentic Italian cuisine from Maurizio Primo”) opened at 5301 Alpha Road, Suite 66 in early January. It joined a slew of other ethnic cuisines over there, like Mughlai’s Indian, Pho House Euro-Vietnamese Bistro, and Maximo.

But that’s not the best part about La Perla.

Guests can watch cheesemaker Antonio Pugliesi churn out fresh mozzarella, scamorza, and burrata while they’re chowing down on their spaghetti meatballs, linguine frutti di mare, and fettucine Bolognese.

It’s too dang bad I didn’t find out about La Perla ’til now. They could have been in our mozzarella taste test.
