This morning comes word: Three Sheets is opening a second location in Uptown in the space formerly known as Pozo Mercado. You may remember Pozo Mercado, the stylish Mexican food restaurant that replaced St John’s Wood Space at 2908 McKinney Ave. in May 2013.

You may also remember Sfuzzi, neighbor to Pozo Mercado, a popular Uptown restaurant also managed by La Reve Consultants. Sfuzzi in Uptown closed on December 31, 2013. The Las Colinas location of Sfuzzi, under separate ownership, is still open for business. I’m not sure when Pozo Mercado closed but starting “late January,” Three Sheets, will be serving their “signature pizza and burgers” and “stiff drinks.” Three Sheets is partnering with La Reve on the project.

I asked Brandon Hays, a representative of La Reve, if there was any word on a new location of Sfuzzi. “Not releasing any information about Sfuzzi currently as there are many things behind the scenes in the works,” Hays says. “Three Sheets will be managing the business and restaurant. They are just partnering with Robert [Colombo] and I in this location.”

Other La Reve Consulting news: Their involvement with Villa-O has ended. The business was sold in late December to Richard Gussoni of Culinaire, the company that runs Nicola’s Ristorante Italiano in Plano. They also attempted a Park Cities location but shuttered in August 2012. Could Villa-O become another Nicola’s? Could Sfuzzi become Villa-O? Perhaps La Reve could revive The Club? Hang on to your seat belts, 2014 is going to be a bumpy ride.
