Dallas partygoers are invited to celebrate the New Year at a party in Five Sixty’s private event space, Cloud Nine, in Reunion Tower. Guests will mix, mingle and nosh on an array of light bites by Five Sixty’s Executive chef Patton Robertson including Tuna Cones, Pork Belly Pot Stickers, Shrimp & Lobster Spring Roll, Lobster Sui Mai, General Tso’s Crispy Quail, and Ginger Licorice Glazed Pork Belly. A DJ will spin the party into the New Year as guests dance and sip on all-inclusive cocktails or order from a select bottle service menu. At midnight, guests will welcome 2014 with a complimentary champagne toast while watching the fireworks display at Victory Park. Meddlesome Moth

Meddlesome Moth, located at 1621 Oak Lawn Ave. in the Design District, today announced its plans for New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., which include a special dinner menu and rare beer tappings and pours throughout the night.

In addition to the regular menu, chef’s features include chilled seafood platters featuring selections like chilled New England oysters; cocktail shrimp; fresh East Coast squid and chili salad; jumbo lump crab; and iced Upslope Lager-steamed clams. Entrée choices include smothered half duck with mustard-glazed roasted roots and huckleberry chutes; and rotisserie roasted prime rib with crushed fingerling potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts with truffle-green peppercorn demi glaze.

The night will also feature special beer tappings and pours including a tapping of Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA and bottle pours of Deschutes Black Butte XXV Reserve Series Porter Beer at 10 p.m.; a tapping of North Coast Grand Cru and a bottle pour of Sam Adams Utopia 2011 at 11 p.m.; and a midnight celebratory tapping of Dupont Avec les Bon Voeux. Lengnick and a not-to-be-missed party with DJ Andre. Patrons can enjoy Shinsei’s regular a la carte menu in addition to dinner specials including: Oysters with crème fraiche and caviar, sea urchin and black rice risotto, spicy king crab legs, red curry and king crab bisque and Korean BBQ. After dinner, guests can mingle in Shinsei’s upstairs lounge as DJ Andre spins the party into the New Year. A complimentary champagne toast will be offered at midnight.
