This morning, a post by Scott Reitz on the City of Ate reminded me about BonChon. In the midst of healthy places opening (like Crisp Salad tomorrow and Roots Juices on Black Friday), I completely forgot about Korean fried chicken.

What a huge oversight. Soy garlic drums, soy drumsticks, hot drumsticks, half and half combo… I can’t even concentrate on writing this post. Bradford Pearson is hovering over my left shoulder and talking about how good this place will be. “It’s going to put Raising Cane’s out of business,” he says.

According to BonChon Dallas’ Facebook page, this chain restaurant is juuuuuuust about to open. They’ll announce the date via Twitter. Apparently, it’s also going to be a sports bar. I’ll take it.
