Oak Lawn Halloween Block Party
This block party is the highlight of all the city’s costumed Halloween festivities. Live music, a catwalk for costumes, and beer booths up Cedar Springs are almost as exciting as the elaborate the costumes on the partygoers. Almost. See this post’s photos.

The Idle Rich Pub, Blackfriar Pub, Renfield’s Corner, and The Old Monk
This fabulous foursome is operating on the same schedule tonight: A DJ starts spinning tunes at 9 p.m. while cash prizes are deliberated for best costumes for individuals, scariest, crowd favorite, and best group.

Afterdark Dallas’ Halloween Bash

Music is presented by One More Time, a Daftpunk tribute, along with DJ Titan and Johnny Funk. This party rages on until 4 a.m.

14th Annual Dragon’s Halloween Ball 
Enjoy 10 DJs, live acrobatics, body art, hip-hop dance performances, and the unveiling of the 2013 Dragon Goddess. This year’s theme is Saints & Sinners. Costume prizes will be awarded based on crowd applause, so bring your crew.

Levu 
Halloween Block Party 
Ishi performs live at this evening full of tunes by Serge Devant, DJ Girlbot, DJ Mishal, DJ Alfredo, and DJ Matt Lamb. The party will fill up the bar and on into the street and under the 50-foot Red Bull and Belvedere tent. A costume contest promises $1,500 in cash and prizes.

A $1,000 costume contest promises $500 to one girl and $500 to one guy.

Haunted Monkey

Fast N’ Loud’s Richard Rawlings, the owner of Gas Monkey, hosts this Halloween bash with cash costume prizes, live music by Time Machine, and drink specials. Buy a $50 open bar package in advance and get mixed drinks, beer, and wine all night.

A Halloween Masquerade
