The East Dallas Boys and Girls Club’s Foodiepalooza Features Good Eats by John Tesar

They say our future depends on our youth. And if you believe this (how could you not???), put your money where your mouth is. Go to the East Dallas Boys and Girls Club’s fourth annual Foodiepalooza. It’s on Thursday, September 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Times Ten Cellars.

Why should you pay $65 per ticket or $120 for a couples ticket? Here’s why, according to the press release:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas enables all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Programming areas include:
Academic Success • Good Character & Citizenship • Healthy Lifestyles 77% of members who participated in activities at least twice per week maintained or increased their GPA to a “B” average or higher and 98% of members who participated in activities at least twice per week were promoted to the next grade.

Bites are provided by John Tesar of Spoon, Grant Morgan of The Ranch, and pastry chef of the Dallas Cowboys, Katie Kennedy.
