Proprietor and host, Thanh Nguyen, has been waiting for some “special golden wall tiles” to arrive from Italy so that he can put the finishing touches on his pan-Asian restaurant, Oishii. ‘The popular neighborhood restaurant which opened in 2003, closed after a fire ravaged the building in December 2012.
The tiles are in and in a few weeks the doors will open, and you can once again feast on the same menu which includes custom sushi, Peking duck, pho, and the #42 roll. Wednesdays will feature bottles of wine for half the price.
