Eat a Biscuit, Save a Booby

|

To help out with Susan G. Komen’s 3-Day for the Cure, Norma’s Cafe is hosting its annual “Biscuits for Boobies” event this Thursday, September 26.

Sounds like a weird name for an event, but this is one of the reasons why I love Norma’s like crazy. They’re always serving their community. Plus, everyone’s gotta eat breakfast, anyways. Why not do it at Norma’s?

The “Breast Friends Forever” team is raising $11,500 and walking 60 miles in 3 days to show their support for breast cancer research and awareness. It’s an amazing thing that they’re doing. Norma’s is donating of portion of their sales to the team. Just order a side of biscuits and gravy and you’ll be doing the eight-member team a world of good. (Two out of the eight are breast cancer survivors.)
