Mussels and tuna burger at The Libertine. Nothing fancy, but dependable and delicious.

Crab bisque for lunch yesterday at Bistro N. Best in town – not too thick with a lovely dollap of crunchy gazpacho in the middle. Fresh tasting and not fishy.

Lunch at East Hampton Sandwich Co. I opted for healthy over hearty so I ordered the Meyer Lemon Chicken sandwich as a salad with spinach. Not a bad little lunch, but I was definitely jealous of my husband’s lobster roll with drawn butter.
TJ’s Seafood Market on Oak Lawn – Caesar salad with seared scallops. Really, really good. Large portions and the scallops were perfectly cooked/seasoned.
FT33. I cannot possibly love this place enough. Each meal is better than the last, and everything on this trip was impeccable – lentil soup, charcuterie board, seared duck and a cheese plate for dessert. Not to mention the wine.

Joyce and Gigi’s Kitchen. Just had some wind and a salad with the corn cake, but very impressed! Will be back.

Lunch at Champagne’s Luxe on Lovers – excellent lobster bisque (best I’ve ever tasted!) but odd setting as it is in a home furnishings store.

Had a great lunch today with a friend at El Tizoncito at their Lemmon Avenue location. Delicious tacos al Pastor sliced off the trompo and their (best in Dallas) guacamole. Washed down with their sweet, tart jamaica (Hibiscus) sdrink.
