The happiest day for singles is quickly looming over our heads. Exciting, isn’t it?! And, hey, have you picked out a place to eat yet? Well, don’t you worry. You can procrastinate all you want, because I’ve already started collecting menus for you. Not to brag or anything, but I’m on top of my game this year. PR folks, feel free to keep sending menus my way.

Frankie’s Sports Bar and Grill
Anti-Valentine’s Day party
On Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, Frankie’s will throw an Anti-Valentine’s Day party, complete with free drinks for those who do not “heart” love, happy hour prices and drink specials that are not exactly welcoming to the little winged creature with love-tipped arrows.
“Everybody knows love stinks and that Cupid is stupid,” said Bill Katz, owner of Frankie’s. “We are giving sane individuals a welcome break from all the red and pink B.S., candy-shaped hearts and ridiculousness that goes on during February 14th each year. We want our day back!”
Frankie’s Anti-Valentine’s Day party starts at the door, where a large shredder will greet guests. If you have a picture of your ex or a letter or email from the jerk to shred, you will get a free drink to help drown your sorrows (limit one per guest – no matter how many jerky exes – up to a $6.50 value). Wear black to get happy hour pricing all night long on Frankie’s large assortment of alcohol, beers and mixed drinks. Drink specials for the Anti-Valentine’s Day party include Love Stinks, Stupid Cupid, Bitter End and Arrow Thru My Heart – any of which are just $4 each.
Frankie’s Sports Bar and Grill has an Anti-Valentine’s Day party planned for each of its three locations: Dallas, Lewisville and Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. Frankie’s offers an unpretentious bar atmosphere with great food and an assortment of 70 beers and fun cocktails. Frankie’s has perfected the art of “Bar Food” into what USA Today referred to as ”…a menu on steroids.” While Frankie’s is an excellent place to watch any game, Frankie’s doubles as a comfortable neighborhood bar with a fun ambience with leather sofas, pool tables, the latest video games, and a prompt, friendly staff. Frankie’s is an excellent location for hosting events, as well. For more information or locations, visit www.frankiesbar.com or like Frankie’s on Facebook.

I know most restaurants promote Valentine’s Day is a great time to eat out – in fact it’s usually the busiest restaurant weekend of the entire year. And while the guys at Sea Breeze would be glad to host you and your sweetie in the restaurant for V-Day, we think it’d be much more romantic (and much less chaotic) to celebrate a night of romance at HOME. So for Valentine’s Day weekend, February 14-17, they’ve prepared Lobster Dinner To Go! For only $95 a couple, guests will enjoy two 1 ½ pound lobsters, one dozen little neck clams, and a pound of mussels, all prepared with potatoes and corn – plus a special Valentine’s Day dessert. Make your reservations by Monday, February 11 to guarantee availability.
Danger may be sexy, but nothing says “true love” like planning ahead. This Valentine’s Day, show that special someone your romantic, smart and considerate side with this special offer from SĒR Steak+Spirits and Uber.
This Valentine’s Day, receive a complimentary glass of champagne at SĒR Steak+Spirits when you book a car through Uber Dallas.
Pump up the romance and surprise your date with a private car booked through Uber. Then take in the exquisite cuisine and breathtaking views at SĒR, recently named one of the Top 10 Most Romantic Restaurants by an Open Table survey. The restaurant will offer the full menu for Valentine’s Day. Present the Uber receipt to your server to receive a complimentary glass of champagne for you and your date. Then let Uber safely transport you to your next romantic adventure.
SĒR Steak+Spirits is located at 2201 North Stemmons Freeway on the top floor of the Hilton Anatole. For reservations, contact 214-761-7479 or visit them online.
