Farnatchi for lunch. I preferred the food of the previous owner’s chef.
The new (original) owner has removed many good items from the old menu.
However, I was told some will be returning to the menu due to customer demand.
I’ll return though because it’s the only neighborhood restaurant that serves decent “Italian” dishes and pizza and, is casually, comfortable. Plus, they’re still BYOB.

Samar for dinner. Loud, hectic, and busy. But, the food is great! Stephan Pyles doesn’t do anything half assed.

This week my husband and I tried out Liberty Burger in North Dallas. My parents had been raving about it for months so we decided to give it a go. LOVED IT! Best burger I’ve had in Dallas. I went for the classic cheeseburger and my husband had the Nooner. Next time I want to try the caramel sea salt shake, mmmm!

On Sunday we went to The Grape for brunch and we always have the burger, which is still the best in DFW. Great patio that is open all year long. Courtney does a great job with the wine list.

Tried The Townhouse at the Galleria – what a disappointment. Calamari starter was soggy and raw. Ahi tuna salad was supposed to have a ginger dressing – cheap italian bottled dressing. Menu said that salad came with cashew’s – had to ask for cashew’s – hardly any on salad. Dessert – stout cake was stale, dry, brought it home to throw away. NOT a good addition for the Galleria 🙁
