There are lots of events going on this week, including Monday Night Foodball at Preston/Frankford, Wednesday night on Knox Ave., behind Crate & Barrel, and the monthly “Parking Lot” event at Sprouts.
Occasionally, though, there will be an event that should receive over the top highlighting. This coming Sunday, October 7, will be a gathering of some of the best Dallas food trucks has to offer to raise money for the North Texas Food Bank. The “Food Truck Palooza” will include Easy Slider, Trailercakes, Nammi, CoolHaus, Enticed, Ruthie’s, Good Karma Kitchen, Potato-Potahto, Crazy Fish, The Butcher’s Son, Gandolfo’s, K-Wheelz Kosher, and Cavalli Pizza. This could be the best line-up we’ve seen so far. The event will take place, Sunday, October 7, from 11am to 7pm at 6930 Alpha Rd. There is a $5 admission.
Update: Trailercakes and Cavalli Pizza are not able to make it. Instead Food Truck Palooza will include The Cup Cakin’ Machine and new truck, Taco Party.
