Saw this note on Main Street Garden’s Lily Pad’s Facebook page:
Lily Pad will be open for happy hour from 5-7 this warm evening serving alcohol only. Pete Townsend will be there to explain upcoming changes and answer any questions you may have about the future of our little baby named Lily Pad. This will be our last time to be open until sometime in March when good weather is here to stay. Come out for one last Dales, Brooklyn, wine, or whatever your poison may be. Thanks to everyone who has supported us.
This notice frightened me. It sounded a bit ominous. So I called Mattie over at Beyond the Box and asked her what was going on. She said that the winter is a very slow time for them, so they’re working on reconcepting the Lily Pad. She promises they’ll be up and running by March. But if you need a fix before then, go to tonight’s happy hour.
