    I went to Capital Grille on Monday night and it was absolutely FABULOUS! The wine pairing is only $25 for 3 full glasses. The Caesar salad was amazing, the filet was perfectly cooked, and the flourless chocolate cake was TO DIE FOR!!!!!!! It also came with family style creamed spinach and mashed potatoes (that MELT in your mouth!). The service was impeccable, and the portion sizes were generous. I will definitely be going here again!

    We went to Craft on Sunday night, it was great. I loved the family style service. You could share everything. I loved the service, in fact we I went to go to the bathroom, a server came over and folded my napkin for me…lol. Finally, the deserts were to die for, and the served up extra courses.

    I went to Al Biernat’s for the first time last night. I got the prime rib and it was disappointing-very tough and overall, not that good. I was expecting it to melt in my mouth. The artichoke agnolotti (sp?) was great and the dessert was good. The pie was good, not outstanding. I’ve had the same caliber elsewhere.

    I also thought the clientele was super pretentious. Sickeningly so. The staff was very nice and the service very good, but my fellow diners(not those at my table) were haughty.

    We went to Stepan Pyles Monday night….portions were generous, steak was cooked perfectly, service as always impeccable…and the pork belly with Texas peaches was excellent…

    My husband and I went to Jasper’s on their last night of hosting Restaurant Week (Sunday). This was an absolutely wonderful visit. We have dined at many establishments for previous restaurant weeks and have suffered from being stuffed in a back room (Nick & Sam’s), being ignored and/or treated indifferently to being served miniscule portions. Not so at Jasper’s…food was fantastic (mustard braised pork with broth so good I could have eaten a whole bowl full) to the out of this world ribs and ancho bbq sauce…not to mention the house made “butterfinger” creme brulee. Our server (Paula) was efficient, considerate and very pleasant and we were visited by the Manager to thank us for coming in and to inquire as to our satisfaction with our dining experience. Within 3 days of our visit, we received a handwritten thank you card from our server thanking us again for visiting during Restaurant Week. This was our first time at Jasper’s but my husband and I both agreed that this will now be a go to place for a great dinner anytime!
