    Fabulous dinner (thanks Erin!) at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse on Monday. The lobster was kind of tiny, but perfectly cooked. I liked how they suffused the plate with a lemony butter emulsion, rather than the drawn butter usually served with lobster–that way, everything (the mashed skin on potatoes, perfect haricot verts) was buttery. Service did not make us feel like second-class cheapos. I will go back. RW success.

    Went to Perry’s last night.It was our first time. It’s a very pretty restaurant. The bar is great looking too. Had a great meal, the pork chop they are known for is very impressive. Huge serving. Their caesar has more of a vinaigrette dressing than a creamy one which was a refreshing change. We had to take leftovers home and they made us another order of broccolini to take home since ours looked “sad”.
    Had a wonderful server named Danny.
    We will go back.

    Went to Stephan Pyles for RW. This has become a fave restaurant of mine over the years because of discovering it during a previous RW. Excellent meal. The arugala salad, with baked goat cheese on a honeycomb and melon was possibly my favorite course. So flavorful. The chicken with mashed potatoes was wonderful. I really liked the extra course of ceviche and gazpacho though I wish the portion size had been a little more. Wine pairings were excellent, especially the red paired with my chocolate mousse creation (the name escapes me.) All in all, a great RW menu. Great, attentive, knowledgable service. I will continue to go!
