Serious Pizza, a 30-seat, BYOB pizza joint, is set to open in Deep Ellum this Thursday. Think hand-tossed, thin-crust pies; exposed brick walls; a 30-ft. pizza observation bar; a menu that’s projected onto the wall, and local cheese from another Deep Ellum fave, Mozzarella Co. Bonus: the joint will be BYOB to start, meaning you can pair your pie with your personal favorite brew without leaving the premises.
Of course, you can customize your pie or calzone six ways to Sunday pizzas—even single slices can be made to order (sweet!). But for specialties, we’re champing at the bit for both The Big Meat and cheeseless Vegan—two ends of the carnivore/herbivore spectrum.
