Dave Miner at Sigel’s January 18th

It is no secret that Miner Family Vineyards is one of my favorite Napa Valley producers, and write about them often.  I like just about everything they do, and love a few – namely their elegant Wild Yeast Chardonnay, bold Stagecoach Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, and their robust Bordeaux blend, Oracle.  I often serve their Stagecoach Vineyard Merlot to change the opinion of people who won’t drink Merlot as Miner’s is earthy, well structured and beautifully complex.

Tuesday, January 18th owner Dave Miner will be in town tasting at the Sigel’s-Elite on Fitzhugh tasting through some of his current releases, including those noted above as well as his vibrant, crisp and entirely too drinkable Viognier, Napa Valley Chardonnay and Gibson Ranch Sangiovese.  Dave will be there from 5pm-7pm and Sigel’s will offer special discounts on the wine after the tasting.  Stay in the area for dinner and head over to Abraham Salum’splace across the street.  The tasting at Sigel’s is free, but you need reservations, available at  214/635-3162
