Visit Veritas Sunday For Great Wine, Tex-Mex & a Good Cause

I just received an email from our friends at Veritas Wine Room regarding a fundraiser they are holding tomorrow for The Freddy Fund.  Freddy Garcia was the nephew of Veritas’ Fernando and dear friend of Brooks and Bradley.  Freddy passed away last year without cause. Subsequently The Freddy Fund was started with the goal to build Freddy Field, an urban soccer field for Dallas kids Freddy’s favorite game.  

Tomorrow at 1pm a $25 cash donation will buy you an all you can eat  feast including Carne de Puerco en Salsa Roja; Beef and Chicken Fajitas; Calabacitas;  Homemade Salsas, plus freshly made Sangria.  There will also be auction items to bid on from Veritas, Restaurant Ava, Hacienda on Henderson and more.
