Giving Thanks to Our Soldiers on Thanksgiving

|

From the copy and paste press release department comes this worthy notice:

Patriotic Dallasites give thanks to our troops this holiday season by serving a Thanksgiving meal Thursday, November 25 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at DFW Airport. It’s the second time around for Debbie Wright and Franklin Pillsbury to organize this holiday meal prepared by World Master Chef Society members including Chef Salvatore Gisellu from Urban Crust.

Jump for the details.

Chefs will prepare a hearty meal for these men and women being deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and with the large number of volunteers in partnership with the USO, this year’s event promises to be better than ever. Helping hands are coming from all over the Metroplex. DJ Chris Krok, of 570 KLIF, Grammy Award Winning Dallas producers and recording artists, Play-N-Skillz, and a duo from the Texas Winds Musical Outreach, Sentimental Journey will all be in attendance to assist in serving the soldiers. Also, the Hyatt Hotel near DFW airport will provide silverware and flatware. Give thanks for those who serve us.
