Say bye-bye to Bliss Raw Café and Elixir Bar’s Greenville Ave. location. Proprietor Dee Pissaro has decided to consolidate the Greenville Avenue location into Bliss’ recently opened Preston Center digs and, she tells us, open another concept eatery in the Greenville space. (Stay tuned for the deets on that.)
New to raw? Well, it’s pretty much what you’d think: food that is uncooked, fresh, rich in enzymes and minerals, free of gluten, sugar, meat, dairy, additives, processed flours, genetically modified foods, pesticides, and preservatives. Oh yeah, and nothing has been heated above 115 degrees. As for the elixirs, think nutritious and medicinal liquid cocktails made by blending phytochemical-rich super foods believed to strengthen the immune system.
Multi-tasking Pisarro is also poised to launch V-Spot – a new vegetarian restaurant on Henderson. V-Spot will focus on cooked vegan/vegetarian-fare. Look for V-Spot to open in December.
