According to Veletta Lill, the executive director of the Dallas Arts District, the city planning commission has authorized a public hearing on the zoning laws that currently prohibit mobile food vendors in the Dallas Arts District. “However, in the interim we will enjoy some of the offerings of the trucks at special events,” says Lill.

As part of Art in October, the Greenhouse Truck will be allowed to serve.  The first appearance will be the evening of October 15 at the Museum Block Party.  She promises there is more good news ahead.
