A Deep Ellum Pub Crawl That’s Gone to the Dogs

For those of you who like your philanthropy with a side of potation, the Deep Ellum Pup Crawl and Poker Run (to benefit the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas) was designed with you in mind. From noon-7 p.m. on Oct. 16, booze-hounds of the two- and four-legged variety will pay $25 to spend the afternoon crawling through Deep Ellum watering holes, receiving a playing card at each stop. At the final destination, prizes will be awarded to the highest hands.

Pup Crawl Begins at 1:30 p.m. from the Bark Park
First Stop: St. Pete’s Dancing Marlin, 1:30 – 2:30pm
Second Stop: Santiago’s, 2:45 – 3:45
Third Stop: July Alley, 4:00 – 5:00 (bonus: quesadillas and chips & salsa)
Last Stop: Reno’s Chop Shop, 5:15 – 7:00

Register on the day of the event 11:30 a.m. at Bark Park Central in Deep Ellum (southwestern corner of Good-Latimer & Commerce, underneath US75). All breeds are welcome. Proceeds benefit The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas. For more info visit the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas’ website.
