Anybody been to Buttons Restaurant in Fort Worth? Somebody told me they do a mean chicken and waffles but I haven’t tried them. Now I won’t have to wait long to get a taste—in September they are opening an Addison location of the “upscale southern-chic restaurant and live music venue” in the old Sambuca space. Who: Buttons Restaurant, an upscale southern-chic restaurant and live music venue
featuring the award-winning cuisines of Chef Keith “Buttons” Hicks, recently
announced a September 2010 opening of its second D/FW location. This Fort
Worth favorite will soon expand its flavorful and robust “food and music for the
soul” to the eclectic space previously occupied by Sambuca Restaurant in Addison.
What: Buttons Restaurant is built upon the idea that food and music are universal. With
a warm and welcoming atmosphere, guests can comfortably savor tantalizing
southern-cuisines, bob their heads to melodic music from back in the day
and “shake their booty” to the vivacious beats of live musical entertainment. With
authentic southern-comfort dishes that stimulate the soul, this award-winning hip
spot will feature a star-studded menu to include Chef Hick’s signature “Chicken
and Waffles,” “Huff’s Pot Roast,” “Nacho Mama’s Meatloaf,” “Gumbo
Mombo,” “Brotha Smothered Pork Chops,” as well as hearty prime steaks,
delectable seafood and “oh so heavenly” desserts. Buttons will be open daily for
