On April 24 from 12-4:00 p.m., Tart Bakery will offer complimentary tastings of their savory menu items just in time for Mother’s Day. A few of the items are pictured above. The rest of the story is below. Go.

For Mothers’ Day, Tart also has some fun gift ideas for those who want to steer clear of the cheesy coffee mugs and grocery store flowers:

  • Mothers’ Day Gift Basket: Choose a custom mix of mom’s favorite treats and add a “Hot Mama” apron and beautiful plates and platters from French Bull. Tart can wrap it up beautifully in colorful packaging.
  • Tiffany Nesting Boxes: If you can’t afford the jewelry, fill each size Tart Tiffany-style box with treats,  both savory and sweet, to show mom you love her just as much! Tart will stack them up and wrap them up and Voila!, a beautiful, thoughtful gift for mom.
  • Savory Brunch Assortment: Want to give mom breakfast in bed but lack the skills and/or the time? Pick up some of Tart’s delicious new savory items like quiche, cheese balls, dips and spreads. Tart can arrange them on a colorful French Bull platter.
  • Flowers & Sweets: If you must give flowers, go for Tart’s Cake Bouquet featuring a 6-inch cake with Dr. Delphinium’s flowers. Choose between six delicious cake flavors and any flower assortment.
