This just in from a loyal Disher with a royal pedigree.
I went to Urbano Wednesday night with my boyfriend and another couple for the first time. I know, I know, I cant believe we waited this long too. Anyway, after some amazing starters, I ordered the buffalo tenderloin, rare. When I received it, I noticed it was closer to medium/ medium-well. Not wanting to complain, and because it still tasted great, I did not say anything to the server and proceeded to eat my entree.
When I was about 2/3 the way through, the server approached saying she had noticed that it was over cooked, had notified the kitchen, and that a new tenderloin cooked rare was on its way out. I insisted that they not do that, because I was already full and felt it was a waste of food, but alas, it was too late, and the tenderloin arrived seconds later, cooked to perfection. The rest of my table was overjoyed because I made them help me eat it. Many servers would have noticed and not said or done anything, hoping that I would not complain, but this was not the case for Urbano.
Working in food and beverage myself, I really appreciated the service and will tell everyone I know, and will of course be back to Urbano soon.
