What: Whataburger celebrates Valentine’s Day with a sweetheart deal for couples featuring its most beloved limited time menu item, the Patty Melt. Couples who dine in at any Whataburger restaurant on Valentine’s Day between 5 – 10 p.m. and purchase a Patty Melt Whatameal, which includes fries and a drink, will receive a second Patty Melt Whatameal for free with dine-in service.
Whataburger fans who found love under the orange W are the inspiration for the burger chain’s “I Love Patty Melt” promotion. Whataburger has received dozens of customer love stories, including “how we met”, first dates, engagements, marriages, military homecomings and anniversaries, like this one from Patricia Zbleski of Dallas. She says she and her husband were high school sweethearts and they often went on dates at Whataburger. They’ll celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on March 31 and plan to eat at Whataburger together to mark to occasion.
“I Love Patty Melt” night is a customer appreciation event as part of Whataburger Serves, a system-wide service initiative benefiting customers, communities and employees during the down economy.

Created by Chef Sascia Marchesi, the special menu amore features an entrée of Fileto di Manzo al
Barbera con Spiedino di Gamberi in Camicia, beef tenderloin and pancetta wrapped shrimp skewer with garlic mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, pancetta and Tuscan crouton in a barbera wine reduction ($30). HECTOR’S ON HENDERSON CELEBRATES VALENTINE’S WEEKEND
Three Days of Love, Food, Wine and Music
During the three day celebration of Valentine’s Day 2010, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Feb. 12 to Feb. 14), Hector’s on Henderson will serve the regular dinner menu but also provide a special Five Course Tasting Menu for $65 per person. The items on the Tasting Menu are not normally found on the regular dinner menu.
“I find clients want to enjoy all their favorites on these special nights, so I always offer the entire regular menu. However, the Tasting Menu gives the Chef an opportunity to show off a bit,” said Hector Garcia. “This really works for our clientele.”
Hours: We will begin dinner service at 5 PM each night, 30 minutes earlier than usual.

Cafe Lago has always been an entity dedicated to community. Throughout the month of February 10% of beverage sales (not profit) will be pledged to UNICEF Haiti directly. Beverages include the popular iced and flavored teas, lattes, coffees, sangria, etc. As Gabriela stated “Water is a human right, and clean drinking water is of utmost importance to the children of Haiti”
Friday and Saturday, February 12th & 13th will offer a quiet get-away without the outrageous price hikes common at other venues. Live Music on Friday the 12th featuring the Cafe Lago Sweetheart, Kerri Arista. Music is from 7 – 9 pm. Menu will feature several special items, all within the usual Cafe Lago price range.
