Greetings From In-N-Out

I am having a double-double animal-style burger at In-N-Out in Westminster,CA. Read this and weep.

  • I am…I am

  • Barbara B

You lucky Burger Babe! My favorite. The first place to go in Calif or Vegas (pending itinerary) is an In-N-Out!

  • Keith

That is just Mean… unless you bring back enough for everyone.

  • Twinwillow

Damn! I’m soooooo jealous! A pox on you!

  • Tomas

Meh. I lived walking distance from an In&Out for 4 years in california. I went a few times to nurse a hangover. Thousand island (a/k/a “secret sauce”) on a burger is gross. Give me Whataburger any day.

  • Fries, yes. Also dined at Bottega Bar in downtown LA last night. Hmm. Not as satisfying as In-N-Out.

  • tofu

Does In-N-Out use any of Beef Product’s ammonia treated meat? I’d like to know if there are any fast food burger places that don’t use it.

  • Sorry I mean Bottega Louie.

  • Scagnetti

I’d sell my soul to the devil himself if he promised to build an In-N-Out in Dallas.

  • JK

This pic should be grounds for termination. Not fair.

  • Question

Shouldn’t this have been filed under “Skinny B!tches”?

  • Jason

@ Thomas… So true! Give me Whataburger any day of the week. In-N-Out might be the most overrated fast food chain in the history of fast food chains. Double meh for me!

  • cc

I had one in Vegas a few years back. I can’t even remember it, so it must not have been that memorable!

  • Glenn Campbell

their burgers are very overrated, and the fries are garbage.

  • kYle

I had my first In & Out at that very location. O – Ver – Ra – Ted.

  • Worzel Gummidge

Is that cheese or yellow pus product?

  • Ferris

What makes a wilted ambulance chaser think his soul is worth an In-N-Out to be built in Dallas? The world may never know.

  • whatever

@ ferris: My understanding is that they sell their souls to satan the instant they pass the bar exam.

  • I had my first In n Out burger last November in San Francisco. And to be honest, I prefer Whataburger, Kellers or Jakes. It was good….. but nothing to write home about!

  • Christopher

    Geez Water’burger-apologists, can’t we whine/pine for In-N-Out in peace!?!

  • I am so over In-N-Out – love the T shirts tho!

  • Dallas D Dude

I love on some In-N-Out, but I do think our beloved Whataburger is on par, and you can even get a wheat bun! How’s that for false consolation when it comes to justifying the fat and calories!??! Doubt In/Out will ever venture outside their current boundaries, though Pinkberry did! Yum. Pinkberry.

  • Timmy

I heard a rumor that the abandoned Krispy Kreme on 75 in Plano is going to become a In-N-Out. As a former resident of Laguna Beach, I am very excited. This source is quite reputable as well…. we will see…

  • Twinwillow

@Timmy: Sorry pal. I’m afraid it’s never going to happen. And if by some miracle it does, I’ll buy your lunch.

  • Jason

@ Timmy – They tore down the Krispy Kreme in Las Colinas and they’re building a Raising Canes… Perhaps your KK has the same plan.

  • elena34

There is nothing that compares to an IN and OUT burger around here.

    Are you joking about Whataburger?

  • Anne

Lake Highlands’ Advocate Magazine just sent out an email newsletter with news from several real estate commercial sources that In-N-Out is looking at the space a former Steak ‘n Shake had at the corner of Northhaven and 75. Me? I’ve never been to one.

  • luniz

Whataburger is terrible. In N Out may be overrated, but it’s still good for fast food burger. Next time I gotta try their fries extra crispy.

  • J.B.

My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who knows we are getting In-N-Out. And a Disney park in Frisco, too…

  • SAM

Had my first In-n-Out last week and I won’t be joining the INO cult. Everything tasted fresh and the meal was cheap ($5.05 at the shop in L.A.). The fries, however, were dry as a bone because they’re cut too thin and the thousand island dressing on the burger doesn’t do it for me. Mustard is better.

I figured it must be comfort food for lots of people, which is as good a reason as any to eat a fast food burger.

I don’t think Whataburger is a good comparison at all.

We get our fresh burger fixes at Sid’s (which also makes amazing homemade potato chips) or Burger Island. Both of these places also make hand cut fries and they are just as fantastic as the burgers.

  • Jeff M

Just moved to CA from Dallas, and have an In-N-Out around the corner. Love it. But I REALLY miss Whataburger… and Grandy’s! In-N-Out is fresh, that’s for sure. But the menu is a bit limited.

  • Allison

Oh, In-N-Out, how do I love thee?
    Let me count the ways!
I love thee for thy meat and cheese and dressing and …

  • Twinwillow

@Anne ~ Alla vi. (From your mouth to God’s ears).

  • MH

Good burgers but not amazing like most people think or post about. Sorry I’ve had a lot of burgers from fast food joints and INO’s are good but just that. Give it a rest. Someone mentioned Krispy-Kreme.yeah its a donut.nuf said.
