I love my “what I’m drinking now” column, because there are so many great things to enjoy out there.
And, I realize that what I love may not be the optimal for everyone, but hopefully it brings some new ideas…
Because I understand this I wanted to take this to the streets and ask others what they “are drinking now.”
With that, we have what beautiful friend, Ellen Winspear, is drinking now:
During the holiday season, my husband Don and I enjoy a drink called a Mistletoe. It is prepared and served as one would a martini. Combine equal parts of vodka and Bailey’s Irish Cream. Add a very small touch of Creme de Menthe and shake up in a martini shaker. Pour into a martini glass, adorn with a miniature candy cane and enjoy. My favorite champagne to enjoy on a regular basis is Veuve Cliquot. However, when there is a special occasion to celebrate, we break out a bottle of Dom Ruinart Rose.
Sounds tasty…I think Miseltoes are on the menu this week!! And if not, certainly a bubbly!
Thank you Ellen.
If you have ideas, let me know and cheers!
