Saturday, Jennifer Chininis and I headed to Jacksonville for the annual Tomato Festival. We landed at noon. It was 96 degrees and the humidity hovered around 65%. There was not a cloud in the sky. People were melting. All of the food was fried. There was no beer. We stayed long enough to almost faint—one hour and fifteen minutes. Here is a photo essay of the event.
