Who is Ryan Eason you ask? He is president of Dallas Farmers Market Friends. I lunched with Ryan recently and I can attest to his character–he is a good man. And dedicated to the Dallas Farmers Market. You can read about him here or you can meet him on April 19th. He’s hosting a Chef-Farmer Roundtable discussion at the Market’s Resource Center. After an hour roundtable involving 5 area chef’s and 5 local farmers, the meeting will be opened to Dallas Farmers Market Friend’s members for Q&A. A mixer follows with hors d’oeuvres prepared by Parigi Chef Chad Houser and served by members of the Dallas County Youth Village. Farmer’s Market Friends will provide a tasting of Texas wines, and the members will have the opportunity to purchase meats, cheeses, and produce from the farmer’s. This event is free for DFMF members and $25 for non-members (if paying, you will automatically become a member of the Friends). TO RSVP call 972-943-4622 by Thursday, April 16th.
