Have you been curious about what’s going on at the Pyramid restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel? Or, are you wondering what “truffle infused cognac” tastes like? The Pyramid is throwing a tasting event next Thursday (April 23) so all your questions can be answered. White sangria, wasabi martinis (yeow), watermelon gin and tonics, and the aforementioned cognac are just a few of the cocktails that will be served. They will be paired with dishes like salmon cakes with napa cabbage slaw and oregano-scallion aioli, and mélange of foraged mushroom with terrace sage-(grown in chef Foster’s terrace garden, I’m assuming) rubbed crostini and ghee fried onions. Jump for the entire menu. $75 per person.
