Bolsa’s Farmers Market a Hit

|

Sunday was Bolsa‘s inaugural farmers market, featuring vendors of the popular Oak Cliff cafe, and I’m happy to report that it was a smashing success. The patio was packed. Live music. Plenty of free tastings. Alas, it was an hour wait for a table inside (we opted for Cliff Cafe for brunch instead — more on that tomorrow). But still, everyone had a great time. My favorite taste was actually a sip: The strong brew of Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters. I bought a pound of the Peru Piura Cepicafe Co-op (a medium dark roast). All I had to read was, “This Peru has a heavy body and rolls on the tongue,” and I was sold. No word yet on when the next market will take place but this is one event to put on your calendar.
