Wine Dinner Review: Hector’s on Henderson

|

Glad to know that somebody is reading and taking the time to write reviews. A Disher who attended Hector’s Imperial Beverage Group wine, dine, and schmooze files this report:

I went, I saw, I drank, I ate.  Wines were really hit and miss, but the apps were outstanding, and the dinner was good.  Hector says he’ll be doing this over the next several weeks…..  He may want to add a wait staffer or two if the other nights are as busy as this one was.  Our waiter, obviously new or slow or something, was a bit surly, and forgot to put our dinners on the ticket — dropping our expected $85-90 bill down to $43.  Fortunately, Hector was nearby so we were able to get our bill corrected (and hopefully earn his undying gratitude for our honesty!)

Hector also had interesting little cards for a Thursday “Date Night” promotion — buy two entrees and get an appetizer at no charge.  I checked, and the lamb chop lollipops will be on the appetizers list.  Those are the best.

Thanks, Texaskatey. How many stars would you give it?
