Green Spot Aims to Launch Local Market

|

I’m a fan of the Green Spot for this reason: it’s the goofiest, most charming gas station in town. When it opened about a year ago in my White Rock hood, I thought, “A gas station that’s green, eco-friendly, and organic? That won’t last long.” But the place seems is catching on. Green Spot’s full name is Green Spot Market & Fuels. Recently they’ve starting taking the “market” part more seriously. They’re now selling organic and local produce (you can join the Produce Club for discounts). And they aim to get a monthly local market up and running soon. If you live in the area and haven’t checked it out, you ought to. Indie places like this need our support.
