My neighbor Grumpy sez that his neighbor Laura Miller was doing a long power dinner at Neighborhood Services last night. The former mayor was dining with, ex-CBS 11 reporter and current Dallas police chief’s wife, Sarah Dodd Kunkle and another woman. Grumpy sez from the looks of the conversation, “it wasn’t no girl’s night out.”
Using equally elegant prose, the Grumpster reports that Neighborhood Services now offers a take-out dinner for four: A whole roasted chicken, two sides, and a loaf of garlic bread for $35. The meal comes in a canvas tote. Once the tote is yours, future chicken dinners are $30. Probably better to order in advance. 214-350-5027.
Note: Inside source sez you can call ahead and put your name on the wait list. (You did not hear that from me.)
