Ladies and gentlemen, and I use those terms loosely on this page, may I introduce Buttons Restaurant in Fort Worth. Starting next Monday, chef Keith Hicks will start slinging some “Southern-Chic” cuisine like his “famous” chicken and waffles in a restaurant with a “modern nod to the nostalgia of the seventies.” Buttons “will feature two dining areas, a full service bar, a showcase kitchen, a live music stage, and a dance floor.” (Yow. Zah. I’m going all “Zagat” on you, sorry.)  The 6,900 sq ft. restaurant and music venue will occupy the former 29 Degree Tavern at the corner of Interstate 30 and Hulen in Fort Worth. Click here for more Buttons. (Is chicken and waffles officially a trend?)
