Thanksgiving Day Three-Course Meal for $25 – Thursday, November 27, 2008

Canary Cafe chef-owner Mansour Gorji prepares and serves a three-course Thanksgiving meal from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. for $25 for adults and $14 for children 12 and under (tax & gratuity not included). DALLAS, Texas (Nov. 10, 2008) – Dragonfly at Hotel ZaZa will again offer its annual holiday spread this Thanksgiving, kicking off the holidays with a bountiful meal served in a beautiful setting. Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., diners will enjoy Executive Chef Grant Morgan’s four-course, prix fixe meal (see attached menu), offering a variety of traditional plates to Asian-inspired fusion dishes. Even better, Dragonfly will send guests home with a holiday “Turkey Tote,” allowing diners to enjoy a post-Thanksgiving treat the following day.

On a holiday known and relished for its good eats, Thanksgiving at Dragonfly will not disappoint. Diners may begin with Hamachi Sashimi with a soy-lime reduction, or Butternut Squash Potato Gnocchi, served with sage-brown butter and aged sherry vinegar. The Soup and Salad course includes a choice of Pumpkin Soup served with crispy duck or the ZaZa Mesclun Salad, a mix of greens and sweet tomatoes tossed with garlic herb vinaigrette.

Entrees include a traditional Turkey Dinner, with roast turkey, gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, haricots verts, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Diners will also enjoy Chef Morgan’s Braised Short Ribs, with confit potatoes, caramelized turnips and huckleberries; Sesame-Crusted Ahi is served with crispy noodles and shiitake glaze. Dessert includes a choice of Pumpkin Pie or Pecan Tart.
