I used to live across the street from the State and Allen Lounge, and I loved the neighborhood feel of the place. People brought dogs, the food was good, and the drinks were flowing. Here’s another reason for good feelings: The restaurant is making an effort to be more environmentally conscious. They are using biodegradable and/or recyclable to-go products, recycling everything that can be, purchasing sustainable foods like fish and looking into buying bamboo (!) tee-shirts for staff. Nice!
