PLANO (August 13, 2008) – In honor of the 2008 Summer Olympics, Olea is highlighting the wonderful wines and foods of Greece, where the historic athletic events originated. Guests will discover how delightful Greek wines are and how well these special vintages from the Mediterranean marry with the full-flavor cuisine of Greece. White wine matches perfectly with hors d’oeuvres of Marinated Greek Olives with Roasted Peppers, Hummus and Eggplant Caviar, Goat Cheese Crostinis and Shrimp in Phillo with Feta Cheese. Delightful Cabernet Sauvignon also pairs infinitely well with rich Spanakopita with Lemon Ouzo Butter Sauce, served with Almyra Chardonnay Skouras; Traditional Moussaka and Marinated Lamb and Beef Boulettes, served Basmati Rice and an immeasurably delightful Skouras Cabernet Sauvignon Saint George, Domaine Skouras.
