Live Like a Pharaoh at the Ritz

Who has their outfit picked out for Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs, the exhibition of the boy king that opens at the DMA on October 3rd? Last time-I think it was the mid-70s–the golden boy showed up in town, I cut my hair into a longer version of what’s-her-name Beckham and permed it into a triangle. This year I am going to get a 24 karat gold facial at the Ritz-Carlton. However, I won’t be checking in for the “Live Like a Pharoah” package that the Ritz-Carlton is offering Dallas visitors. They are offering two VIP programs. My fav is the two-night stay in a 1,700 square-foot suite, after-hours access to the exhibit, chauffeured limo, the aforementioned 24 karat facial, an Egyptian dinner, purple roses, and a custom made 21 karat Egyptian gold bracelet designed by Carter Malouf package. It’s a bargain at $60,000. Or maybe I’ll just buy a ticket and watch Cleopatra for the 100th time. I like queens better than pharaohs.
