Hamilton Rousseau III, R.I.P.

Dallas has lost one of its unique foodie characters. Hamilton Rousseau III, former owner of Ifs Ands & Butts, the eclectic soda and tobacco shop in the Bishop Arts District, passed away on Wednesday, August 13 after a long struggle with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), a rare bleeding disorder.     This is a big loss in Dallas’ limited pantheon of nice guys, but more than that, it is a genuine bit of Oak Cliff gone to heaven…or whereever this nice guy wanted to go…
