Bride-To-Be Needs Wedding Cake Advice

Former D staffer “Sweet” Ryan Mendenhall just stopped by the office to say hi. She lives in Austin but she is getting married in Dallas next May and is in town to taste wedding cakes. She’s a picky girl and is looking for a tasty, inexpensive, “no fondant” cake. Of course I told her to keep the money and elope, but she’s a sentimental gal and wants all the bells and whistles. I didn’t want to rain on her train so I told her I’d ask you. You guys know everything. Cakes, please.
