I Love Central Market

|

At the risk of sounding like a press release, I just want to gush a little over my favorite grocery store. I no longer live near the Lovers Lane location, but I head across town anyway because Central Market sells some of my favorite things. For instance, the lamb patties with mint and feta–fancy hamburgers, if you will–have become a staple in my diet. I don’t even need a bun, although I sometimes stuff them into pitas with spinach. Mostly I just grill them on the George Foreman, make a nice salad (love the spinach and arugula mix), and I’ve got myself a meal. I even served them for company this past weekend, and they were a hit. Another reason to go: coupons! This week I had a coupon for $10 off fresh seafood, so my coho salmon was practically free. If you’re not on the CM mailing list, you should get on it. I’m not sure if signing up for the Foodie newsletter will also get you the coupons, but I bet someone out there in Dishland knows.
